UCF Themed Experiences Student
During the 2023-2024 academic year, the JMG Traveling Theater expanding its reach by partnering with the UCF Themed Experiences graduate program. Through a practicum course, Themed Experience students created a game-based interactive experience for teens called “Unlocking Atlantis.” This project provided Themed Experience students with a practical application of their skills, as they created an immerse experience for a real-life client. Students identified client needs, developed a concept, worked within a budget, and implemented their design. For our partner hospital, Nemours Children’s Hospital, this activity met their goal of engaging high school patients and increasing the use of their teen lounge space.
