Probably his most well known public building is the Florida Supreme Court Building in Tallahassee, Florida. The Jeffersonian Greek Revival building was designed by Rogers II and Yonge &amp; Hart of Pensacola, Florida. The building was constructed\u00a0in 1948 and remains the location of the Supreme Court in Florida to this day.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>The Seminole Hotel<\/strong><\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"size-medium wp-image-58 alignleft\" src=\"https:\/\/projects.cah.ucf.edu\/jgrogersarchive\/jgrogersarchive\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2016\/10\/SeminoleHotel1924-300x184.jpg\" alt=\"seminolehotel1924\" width=\"300\" height=\"184\" srcset=\"https:\/\/projects.cah.ucf.edu\/jgrogersarchive\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2016\/10\/SeminoleHotel1924-300x184.jpg 300w, https:\/\/projects.cah.ucf.edu\/jgrogersarchive\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/7\/2016\/10\/SeminoleHotel1924.jpg 500w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 300px) 100vw, 300px\" \/>Rogers II designed many other buildings in the Central Florida area as well. The second Seminole Hotel, built in 1912, went through a large scale renovation phase in the 1940s. James Gamble Rogers II designed many of the renovations to the hotel including the dining hall, kitchen and basement.<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p><strong>Olin Library<\/strong><\/p>\n<p>&nbsp;<\/p>\n<p>These are just three examples of the many buildings that James Gamble Roger II designed.
