Understanding Digital Culture: Humanist Lenses for Internet Research

Applications have closed. Please stay tuned for us to release our materials for self-paced learning following the workshop!

Funding

Each of the 25 selected participants will receive a stipend of $1250 to attend the workshop.

Migration to Virtual

The Institute was scheduled to be hosted at the Downtown Orlando campus of the University of Central Florida, home to the Nicholson School of Communication and Media, including the Games and Interactive Media department and a new Media – Maker Lab.

However, the campus is closed for the summer in a switch to remote learning due to the public health crisis. All work will now be completed using a combination of synchronous and asynchronous online communication.

Participants will still be receiving their stipend, and are encouraged to use it to fund necessary support for their participation, including home technology, software, childcare, and similar expenses.
