you name it, and they probably found it.\u00a0 The most impressive commitment to the collection was\u00a0 when the students banded together to find 50 7-Up cans that created a pyramid sculpture of Uncle Sam.\u00a0 A little bit of good ol&#8217; fashioned dumpster diving helped complete the full set!<\/p>\n<p><img loading=\"lazy\" decoding=\"async\" class=\"alignleft size-medium wp-image-81\" src=\"https:\/\/projects.cah.ucf.edu\/bicentennial\/bicentennial\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2016\/10\/Uncle-Sam-210x300.jpg\" alt=\"uncle-sam\" width=\"210\" height=\"300\" srcset=\"https:\/\/projects.cah.ucf.edu\/bicentennial\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2016\/10\/Uncle-Sam-210x300.jpg 210w, https:\/\/projects.cah.ucf.edu\/bicentennial\/wp-content\/uploads\/sites\/6\/2016\/10\/Uncle-Sam.jpg 432w\" sizes=\"auto, (max-width: 210px) 85vw, 210px\" \/>Dr. Crepeau&#8217;s collection continued to grow until he and his students had amassed nearly 10 boxes of Bicentennial objects!\u00a0 The collection was so large that it even drew national attention when it was chosen to be featured on Jean Shepherd&#8217;s <em>America<\/em>.\u00a0 Dr. Crepeau was interviewed and showcased his collection on their Bicentennial special.<\/p>\n<p>40 years later.\u00a0 The year is 2016, and the collection lives on.\u00a0 Affectionately named &#8220;Bicentennial Junk: the Good Dr&#8217;s Collection,&#8221;
